What makes a TrueBlue Enclosed Trailer better than the rest?

What Makes a TrueBlue Enclosed Trailer Different?

If you’ve shopped for enclosed trailers, you’ve probably noticed there can be a pretty big difference in price from one trailer to the next. From the outside, a lot of them look almost identical. The difference is usually in how they’re built.

We’ll be the first to say that TrueBlue isn’t the cheapest enclosed trailer on the market. There are plenty of cheaper options out there. We carry TrueBlue because we wanted an enclosed trailer that we felt good about selling—something built to actually hold up and last.

It Starts With the Frame

TrueBlue uses a heavy-duty tube frame with a triple-tube tongue instead of cutting back on the structure underneath the trailer. Depending on the size, you’ll see 2x4 or 2x6 tube framing, with floor and wall crossmembers spaced 16" on center.

That gives you a solid foundation whether you're hauling tools every day, setting up a race trailer, hauling equipment, or just need a dependable cargo trailer.

One-Piece Aluminum Roof

One feature we really like is the one-piece aluminum roof.

Fewer seams means fewer potential areas for water to work its way in over time. When you're buying an enclosed trailer that you plan on keeping for years, keeping water out matters.

StableDeck+ Floors & StableWall+ Walls

TrueBlue uses 3/4" StableDeck+ flooring and 3/8" StableWall+ walls rather than going as light as possible on the interior materials.

The floor is supported by 16" on-center framing, giving you a solid cargo area for equipment, mowers, tools, motorcycles, ATVs and whatever else you're hauling.

Details That Actually Matter

A lot of what separates TrueBlue comes down to smaller things you may not notice when you're just looking at pictures online.

You’ll find features like recessed D-rings welded into the frame, adjustable 2-5/16" couplers, easy-lube axles, greasable hinges, RV-style side door latches, bar locks, LED lighting and a rear spoiler with integrated LEDs.

None of those things sound groundbreaking by themselves. Together, they make a trailer easier to use and better suited for the long haul.

Built for More Than Just Cargo

We also like TrueBlue because of how customizable they are. We can build anything from a basic enclosed cargo trailer to a race trailer, contractor setup, concession trailer or fully finished work trailer.

Options include 7.5' and 8' interior heights, 50-amp electrical packages, mini-split or rooftop A/C, PolyCore finished interiors, cabinets, honeycomb polymer flooring, blackout packages, concession windows and more.

And if you need something bigger, we regularly work with 24', 28' and 32' builds.

Why We Sell TrueBlue

At the end of the day, we don't expect everyone shopping for an enclosed trailer to buy the most expensive option. Sometimes you just need a basic trailer and price is the biggest factor.

But if you're comparing trailers because you want something you're going to use regularly and keep for years, look past the exterior skin. Look at the frame, roof, flooring, crossmember spacing, axles, doors, hardware and how the trailer is actually put together.

That's where TrueBlue stands out to us.

We keep several TrueBlue Enclosed Trailers in stock at BigHorn Trailers in Itasca, Texas, including 7' wide and 8.5' wide models, different heights, axle packages and finished-out options.

Stop by the lot and compare one in person. We’re happy to walk you through the differences without the sales pitch.
